    Exclamation

My check engine light came on today and when I checked the code it blinked four long times and that was it. I tried logging on to hybrid.honda-perf.org to see what code it is, but the page won't load.

Can anyone tell me what code this is???

OK, maybe I will get it right this time. I found out that code 30 is an auto. transmission code and I know for a fact that my GS-R is not an auto. So, I checked the service connector again and decided that they were not 3 long blinks, but 3 short blinks, which would indicate map sensor. I just installed my GSS-342 yesterday, adjusted to JR FPR to 60 psi at 0" vac, and approx. 50psi at idle. Can anyone tell me why I'm throwing this code??

Your fields unit is causing an out of range error at the ECU....the signal coming back from the map sensor is too high...try adjusting your Fields fuel settings down a little...I bet that will fix your problem!..Good Luck!

    CivicR,

My fuel settings on my Field are set at 0% +/- right now because I'm not sure if I need to increase or decrease fuel. I'm figuring that the JR FPR will control the fuel level, I have a fuel filter top gauge that is reading 50psi @ idle and 60psi @ 0" vac. Do you recommend that I increase or decrease fuel based on this?

BTW, my CE light hasn't come on again and I have driven about 70 miles since. Go figure, huh?

    Thanks for the help.

Just so you know, When i got my APEXi SAFC, with stock injectors i couldnt increase fuel by any more then +10% without throwing that MAP sensor code... so after i switched to larger injectors, i find myself leaning it out now.... much better... i have full control over fuel delivery.. and i dont have CE codes anymore.... Unless i set the cruise fuel levels too high.. haha...
